It isn’t Smuggs, but it is Vermont! Lake Willoughby (“the lake”) boasts some world class multi pitch ice climbing routes. Stacked with hard routes in a great position above Lake Willoughby, you’re sure to feel the exposure kick in! Moderate ice also exists here and can be a great option for someone looking to climb some mellow ice in a beautiful setting. Multi pitch ice climbing experience is great, you should be comfortable climbing WI3+ for this clinic.
